Histology Laboratory

NWP offers complete histology services, including routine and special stains, immunohistochemistry, immunofluroescence, and some molecular testing.

If you are located outside our daily courier range, we can make special arrangements for specimen pickup, or provide you with FedEx mailing envelopes. Please call us at 360-734-2800 to arrange for laboratory services.

Fine Needle Aspiration

Fine needle aspiration (FNA) is often useful for diagnosis of lesions with a less invasive procedure than open biopsy.

Outpatient fine needle aspirations are regularly performed by the Director of Cytopathology, Dr. B. Stratton at the NWP facility. An FNA can be scheduled by calling NWP at 734-2800.

Northwest Pathology offers free courier service.

Our dependable, professional couriers transport specimens from local area clinics and hospitals on a daily basis.
